About

Welcome to ILIVEINEASTVAN.COM. What you will find here is a collection of events, highlighting food, music, art and anything in between that we deem interesting within the community that is East Vancouver.  We will also feature local businesses, events, people or charities and generally promote the community of East Vancouver.  Geographically, we have deemed East Vancouver to be between Main Street and Boundary Road if travelling East to West and the Fraser River to the Burrard Inlet for those travelling South to North.   We will venture outside of the geographic area occasionally by only a short distance for happenings that symbolize East Vancouver.  If you have an event, business or person, you would like to see featured on ILIVEINEASTVAN.COM drop us a note at ILiveInEastVan@gmail.com.

If you are looking for information on a specific event in East Vancouver, check out our Event Listing.  You can also find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @ILiveInEastVan.

Who is behind ILiveInEastVan? Editor In Chief is Barbara Borchardt and that’s me below (back a number of years of course)  in the red bathing suit with a bucket on my head.  This is what we considered a backyard pool growing up in East Van.
