Baaad Anna’s is hosting its 5th Annual Knit-A-Thon this Sunday, December 8th from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. You are invited to come down for an hour, two or whatever time you can spare and knit hats, scarves and mittens for the folks at the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre. Baaad Anna’s will also be accepting donations of canned food and cash for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre. For all those knitters that contribute food, you will receive 15% off all yarn this Sunday. If you have yarn to donate, that is welcomed as well. For any yarn that is not used, it will redistributed to local schools and seniors groups. Also, donations of yarn can be dropped at the store anytime during regular business hours: Saturday to Tuesday 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and Wednesday to Friday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.
