Arts Umbrella and River District, 8683 Kerr Street, have collaborated to bring a fall session of Draw, Paint and More at the River District Centre. This is a visual arts program offered for children ages 6 – 9 years. Classes will run for 10 weeks on Mondays from September 16th – December 2nd from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Kids will create 2D and 3D projects using tempura, water-colour, pastel, chalk, and a variety of found objects. They will also study patterns, textures, and colours and learn to use clay, wood, paper, and other materials in unconventional ways. The cost of the program is $200 per student.
