Yeast Van Patio Party Brewery District August 27

Love a nice refreshing beverage on a hot summer day?  Then you may wish to head over to the Yeast Van Patio Party happening on Saturday, August 27th at Container Brewing, 1216 Franklin Street from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 17 + breweries are participating in the event as well as distilleries and meaderies. There’s a long list of local businesses offering refreshments including Andina Brewing, Luppolo Brewing, East Van Brewing, Callister Brewing, Odd Society Spirits, Strange Fellows, Storm Brewing, Parallel 49 Brewing, Off The Rail Brewing, Powell Brewing and many more. ICONS Celebrates One Year Sunday January 25th At The Biltmore Cabaret

ICONSJan.25thICONS celebrates their one year anniversary on Sunday, January 25th at the Biltmore Cabaret. ICONs represents the racy subculture of modern vintage lifestyle which takes design and style cues from the 60’s and 70’s. And well the poster for the event is a perfect example, classic album cover from “Whipped Cream & Other Delights” by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. ICONS is a heavily curated and highly anticipated vintage clothing market. You can expect to find psychedelic posters, antiques, records, taxidermy, retro lamps as well as small furniture, cameras and a bit of this and that.  There will also be drink specials and a DJ spinning tunes from the 60s and 70s. The event is being held at the Biltmore Cabaret, 2755 Prince Edward Street.  ICONS gets under way at 11:00 am and goes till 5:00 pm.  This event is for ages 19+.

ICONS: Vintage Clothing Market At The Biltmore Cabaret November 16th

IconsNov16thICONs is back for a second Fall edition this Sunday, November 16th at the Biltmore Cabaret. The theme ICONs represents the racy subculture of modern vintage lifestyle which takes design and style cues from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s & a bit of early 90’s cultural icons. Think “Keith Richards, Bridget Bardot, Iggy, Twiggy, Andy Warhol, Jane Birkin, Farrah Fawcett, Madonna, Steve McQueen, Patti Smith, Townes Van Zandt ” and many more.  Expect to find items such as psychedelic posters, antiques, records, taxidermy, retro lamps as well as small furniture, cameras and a bit of this and that.  There will also be a photo booth, drink specials, a DJ spinning tunes from the 60s and 70s and Local Omnivore food truck serving up burgers and more all day long. The event is being held at the Biltmore Cabaret, 2755 Prince Edward Street.  ICONS gets under way at 11:00 am and goes till 5:00 pm.  This event is for 19+.
