The Cultch Gallery, 1895 Venables Street,  invites you to the opening of a new exhibit this Wednesday, August 28th.   They will be presenting the works of Jon Shaw and Dante J. Comoglio.  Jon Shaw’s exhibit titled “Street, Signs and Alleyways” are paintings created with very modern illustrative techniques, grungy yet colourful, traditional yet very contemporary. Dante Comoglio’s exhibit is titled “Yes-No and Horizons”.  The Yes-No project offers a series of interactive yes-no switches to the audience, creating a very personal relationship with the viewer, while Horizons is a photo-based series that explores the duality of the horizon, a subject of interest in Comoglio’s art.    The opening reception takes places this Wednesday, August 28th between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.   The exhibit will run until September 28, 2013 and is available for viewing Monday to Friday from Noon – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from Noon – 4:00 p.m.
