The 14th Annual Trinity Street Christmas Light Festival is now underway until January 5th. For 14 years, residents of 2400 – 2900 blocks of Trinity Street have been putting on an amazing display of Christmas lights. You are invited to come out and talk a wander among the lights. You are also encouraged to vote for your favourite block and for your favourite house. Each vote is $2.00 and all funds raised go to Harbourview Daycare, a Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, which provides much needed childcare for ages 3 – 5 and St. James Cottage Hospice which has been serving the most at risk in the community since 1961. The Trinity Street Christmas Light Festival will also be holding Winter Walks on December 15th and 22nd from 5:00 pm. – 9:00 p.m. On those evenings, a concession will be available at 2669 Trinity Street to help warm you up. To ensure this remains a safe event, organizers ask that you leave the car behind, or park a little ways away and walk in. Lights go out each night at 10:00 p.m. So come early to see the dazzling display which will surely get you into the spirit of Christmas!
