Take-d-milk-headerTake d Milk, Nah? comes to The Cultch from October 16 to 26th, 2019. The production is presented with Diwali BC and is written and performed by Jivesh Parasram.  Jiv is “Canadian” and “Indian” and “Hindu” and “West Indiana” and “Trinidadian” too.  In Take d Milk, Nah?, Parasram blends personal storytelling and ritual then walks his audience through the Hin-do’s and Hin-don’ts at the intersections of these cultures. The show is a candid and funny look at race, religion, and nationalism(s). Jiv dives into what divides us and what things we’re willing to accept in the desire to belong. ActOfFaithWhat happens when everything we believe to be true about ourselves or those closest to us is challenged by new information? If you aren’t religious, do you believe in miracles?  Act Of Faith coming to The Cultch on April 11th ask these big questions.  The production brought to you by Realwheels Theatre is inspired in part by a true story. The play explores the mystery of faith-based healing and the consequences of life-changing transformation.  Act Of Faith runs April 11 – 20, 2019 at Historic Theatre in The Cultch.
