The East Van Bazaar is back on Saturday, May 27th at The Hall which is located at 1739 Venables Street (at the corner of Commercial Drive). The organizers have put together another great mix of local makers, artisans and collectors of vintage. Some of the vendors you can expect to see include artisanal wine by Waterside Winery, delish pie and sweet treats from Rose & June’s Bakeshop, beautiful teas by Tea Lani, jewellery by Meraki Escential Love, The One & Only and Rish Jewellery. If you happen to be looking for vintage items, you may wish to stop by and check out She Wolf Paper & Vintage which will be on hand with retro clothing, books and more. Admission is a suggested $2 donation. We invite you to pop down and check out all the local talent which of course is a hop skip and jump from some great spots on The Drive. Although, we do recommend stopping in at Uprising Breads just one block down the street. We are rather addicted to their Ginger Cookies.

The Eastside Flea is back at the Wise Hall, 1882 Adanac Street, December 19th & 20th with their Last Dash Holiday Bash. There will be over 60+ local vendors on hand selling an array of items new and used. You can expect to find collectibles, gift cards, handcrafted and vintage jewellery, vinyl records, succulents and plants and a whole host of gift items for the last minute holiday shopper. The Salt Dispensary will be on hand with Gourmet Blended Salts under the $10 mark. Also Noble & Co will be on hand with handmade natural beeswax candles and our personal favourite East Van Jam. To keep you warm, Kahve & Chai will be on hand with an indoor concession serving up chai, coffee and tea. Tacofino will be stationed outside all day serving what they do best, tacos. Admission is $3.00 and $2.00 with a non-perishable food donation. Eastside Flea runs from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday.

The community-oriented Eastside Flea returns to the Wise Hall, 1882 Adanac Street, this Saturday, February 21st. As usual, they’ve got a great line up of local vendors which will sell everything from mid-century furniture to records to new works by local artists to books to vintage items and so much more. For this weekend’s market, you can expect to local artist, Andrea Hooge, with handdrawn magnets, prints & pins. We are hearing about an amazing handmade soap with pine, cedarwood atlas, eucalyptus, fir, patchouli and black pepper by Product of Science and Art. The Eastside Flea is an all ages event. Admission is $2.00. Eastside Flea runs from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Deck The Halls At The Wise Hall Saturday December 20th

The Eastside Flea returns to the Wise Hall with Deck The Halls this Saturday, December 20th. If you are looking for vintage finds, this is the place to be. There will be over 40 local vendors on hand including Would Boards with locally made wooden skateboards and Forest And The Femme with nature inspired arrangements for your holiday table and of course many more. You will also find carolers making the rounds to keep you in the holiday season. Bring a non-perishable food donation and receive a $1.00 off admission. The Notch Coffee and Local Omnivore food trucks will be located outside keeping everyone caffeinated and fed. The Wise Hall is located at 1887 Adanac Street and the event runs from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. All ages welcome.
Main Street Vinyl Record Fair At Heritage Hall November 16
30 OctThe Main Street Vinyl Record Fair celebrates its 5th anniversary in spectacular fashion with a ONE DAY SALE at its new home in the Heritage Hall, 3102 Main Street, on Sunday, November 16th. If you are looking to buy, sell or trade new and/or used vinyl records, this is the place to be. You can expect to find LPs, 45s, 78s, turntables, vintage audio gear, record storage and so much more with over 50 independent vendors. That translates to over 50,000 vinyl records on sale. This is the place to discover rare records and stock up on bargain classics. The Main Street Vinyl Record Fair gets under way at 11:00 am and goes till 5:00 pm. Admission is $4.00 for adults, kids are free.
East Van Indie Swap October 25th In Mount Pleasant

The Eastside Flea is returning to the Independent, 188 Kingsway, this Saturday for the East Van Indie Swap. The market will run during the day from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm with a break for dinner and will resume for the evening market at 6:00 pm and go till 11:00 pm. Note the evening market is for ages 19+.
This Saturday’s market with feature a great line up local vendors showcasing vintage items, handmade and household goods and much more. You will also find a daytime mini vinyl record fair, an evening bar with craft beer & delicious Fall cocktails, outdoor food trucks, DJ’s spinning tunes, live music from Portage & Main and a debut performance from Chinatown (Tough Lovers band new project). Everyone is encouraged to mix, mingle, barter and swap. Admission for the East Van Indie Swap is $3.00 for the day market, $5.00 for the evening market or $7.00 all day.
