June Hunter – East Van Artist Studio Sale September 30

25 Sep

East Van artist, June Hunter, is hosting a rare Studio Sale this Saturday, September 30th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  June’s work features urban nature as well as some iconic East Van landmarks. If you wish to know more about the crows and other birdlife that inhabit the green space in our neck of the woods, you may wish to follow her blog. June also captures some truly amazing photos of the visitors that come to her idyllic backyard. During her studio sales, June transforms her working space to showcase all her creative works which include a City Crow Calendar 2024,  jewellery, small prints, wall art, bags, tea towels, postcards, notebooks and much more.  We expect her rescue dog Geordie will be on hand again as ambassador to greet you. June Hunter’s Studio is located at 2785 Parker Street (one block west of Renfrew – between Hastings St. and First Avenue). The Studio Sale runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

If you are not able to attend her upcoming Studio Sale, we invite you check out her online shop which is open 24/7.

Artisan Markets & Craft Fairs In East Vancouver 2016

10 Nov

SnowflakeTis the season is upon us for an array of craft markets and artisan fairs. The collection of local talent is rather awe inspiring when you attend any of these events. If you are looking for a gift for a birthday, anniversary or Christmas, you are likely to find something at any one of these markets. You will find an array of items including art work, pottery, clothing accessories, baked goods, local spirits, gifts for that foodie in your life or beard kits for the man in your life.
