In case you missed the news, Riley Park Farmers Market is now a year round market happening every Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 30th & Ontario.   This is a great space located next to a community garden with ample parking and located on a bike route.

Hastings Park Farmers Market – Sundays Nov. 4 – April 28, 2019

The Hastings Park Farmers Market kicks off Sunday, November 4th at Hastings Park and happens weekly every Sunday until April 28, 2019 except for Sunday, December 30th. The market is located on the PNE grounds by the Hastings Skatepark.

Whichever market you choose, stop by and support your local makers!

Winter Farmer Markets Are Back At Nat Bailey Stadium & Hastings Park

ProduceEricUrquhartVancouver Farmers Market hosts two winter farmer markets this year. Both kick off this weekend. Nat Bailey Stadium kicks off this Saturday, November 4th and Hastings Park happens Sunday, November 5th. These markets happen rain or shine and continue into April.  So if they can be out there in all the elements, so can we to support our local growers and makers.

Nat Bailey Stadium – November 4 to April 21 / 10 – 2

The biggest Winter Farmers Market is at Nat Bailey Stadium, 4601 Ontario Street on Saturday November 4th and runs each Saturday until April 22nd, 2018 save for December 30th.  The market runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Hastings Park – November 5 to April 29 / 10 – 2

If you prefer heading to the farmers market on a Sunday, then be sure to check out the now popular market at Hastings Park.  This farmers market will run every Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm until April 30, 2018 save for December 24th and December 31st.  The market is located on the Centregrounds.

Winter Markets In East Vancouver

We’ve set out the dates and times below, but both have some great additions to entice you to join them, rain or shine, in January and February.  Hastings Park is showcasing some new vendors that can only be found at Hastings Park including The Smallflower Gluten Free Bakery, Tempea Tempeh, North Pacific Kelp & Wild Foods, Cedar Isle Farms, Georels Smokehouse, Lita’s Mexican Foods.  This February Food Truck February is back at both markets, Nat Bailey Stadium and Hastings Park with the biggest line up ever of food trucks. Purchase a Food Truck Passport and get it stamped at each stop and you have the chance to win a Food Truck Golden Ticket which means a free food truck meal every week for a year!  Just a little extra entice to get out and support local.

Vancouver Farmers Market returns to Nat Bailey Stadium, 4601 Ontario Street for their winter market starting Saturday November 7th and will run each Saturday until April 23 save for December 26th.  The market will run each day from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.   This is a great opportunity to shop local all winter long. Each week you can expect to find locally grown fruit and vegetables, meat and seafood from local ranchers and fishermen, artisan cheese and bread, herbs and seasonal nursery items, baked goods and prepared foods.  Also on hand, as usual, will be a few food trucks, hot drink vendors and a little live music to keep you entertained.

If you prefer heading to the farmers market on a Sunday, then be sure to check out  the market at Hastings Park beginning Sunday November 8th.  This farmers market will run every Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm until May 1, 2016 save for December 27th.  The market is located on the PNE grounds by the Hastings Skatepark. This market will also feature a great selection of local produce, including fish, poultry, meat and dairy products.  You will also find locally sourced  artisan prepared foods, baked goods, local crafts and food trucks serving hot food to keep you warm in the cooler months. Come out and support local this winter.

Vancouver Farmers Market Returns To Hastings Park March 8th

HastingsParkSpringVancouver Farmers Market is pleased to announce the Hastings Park Farmers Market is returning this Spring. As many will recall, it had a 9 week trial run this past winter at this location and by all accounts it was a great success. So it’s back starting Sunday, March 8th every weekend until April 26th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The market will again be located at Hastings Park between the Forum and the Agrodome. You will be able to stroll down tree-lined pathways under twinkling lights and wander through the Italian Garden. There is a playground close at hand for those coming with little ones. The market will, of course, feature many great local vendors and will have a great selection of produce, fish, meat & dairy, artisan prepared foods, baking & treats, coffee, local crafts and of course some hot food trucks. The market runs rain or shine. See you at the market!

Each week you can expect to find locally grown fruit and vegetables, meat and seafood from local ranchers and fishermen, artisan cheese and bread, herbs and seasonal nursery items, baked goods, prepared foods and artisanal craft. Also on hand, as usual, will be a few food trucks, hot drink vendors and a little live music to keep you entertained. And we hear covered seating areas and warming stations.

And if you miss Saturday’s Winter Market at Nat Bailey Stadium, don’t forget there is also the new Hastings Park Winter Market on Sundays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm until November 30th. Find this market in the Hastings Sunrise area on the PNE grounds between the Forum and the Agrodome.

NEW Winter Market At Hastings Park October 5th To November 30th

This 9 week trial market will be located at Hastings Park between the Forum and the Agrodome.
