Rescue Me: Cady Looking For Her Forever Home

10 Sep

CadyVanSPCAWelcome to the next installment of Rescue Me in which we feature pets waiting for adoption at the Vancouver SPCA.  Today we would like to introduce to a lovely cat named Cady.  She is 5 year old tortoise shell and like most tortoise shell cats has a bit of ‘tortitude’ or so the lovely people at the Vancouver SPCA have found. Cady came to them as a stray on July 6th and has remained there since.  Although the Vancouver SPCA found her ‘people’ they did not come to claim her :-(. So this lovely girl now patiently waits for the puuurfect home.   The Vancouver SPCA thinks Cady is best suited for an adult only home without any other creatures where she can happily snuggle with you indoors.  In the SPCA’s experience, the tortoise shell cats can be rather independent, moody and a little possessive of their humans.  But Cady has shown that she easily bonds with people that she meets and enjoys giving gentle head butts.  She is a quiet girl and is happy to hang out on her own when you go off to work.   They expect she’s the kind of girl that will greet you at the door when you come home.   If you think you could give Cady her forever home, or know someone that can, please contact the BC SPCA Vancouver Branch by telephone at 604-879-7721 or by email at vancouver@spca.bc.ca. Psst this lovely girl even has her own You Tube video that shows off her beautiful green eyes, take a peak.  As always, we thank you in advance for sharing this information to help Cady find her forever home.
