Talking Stick Festival – February 14th to 24th

Retro Design & Antiques Fair – Croatian Cultural Centre – February 18th
This Sunday, you will find over 175 vendors at the Croatian Cultural Centre for the Retro Design & Antiques Fair. You will find designers, collectors, antique dealers and much more. Event happens from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 at the door.
Vancouver Golf Expo – PNE Forum – February 17th & 18th
If you love golf, then you may wish to check out the Vancouver Golf Expo happening this weekend at the PNE Forum. Expo runs Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Great Backyard Bird Count – February 16th to 19th
The Great Backyard Bird Count happens February 16th to 19th. If you love birds and can tell one from the other, you may wish to check out this event which asks everyday citizens to let those know that study birds what’s happening in our communities. You can count for as little as 15 minutes on a single day or longer if you’d like. It’s free, it’s fun and helps the birds and researchers. To learn more, visit, Great Backyard Bird Count. Broken Tailbone – The Cultch – Till February 24th
We attended the opening of Broken Tailbone this week and what a unique fun show. Carmen Aguirre, who is a woman to be reckoned with and knows her mind, will take you through a tour of political history of Latin America. At the same time she interjects personal stories and teaches you some Latin dance moves. So bring your dancing shoes, a partner, a friend or go to make some new friends and DO check out Broken Tailbone. The production is on now at The Cultch until February 24th.

If you are looking for live music this weekend, Cafe Deux Soleils is hosting the Big Coast this Sunday, February 17th. The Winter Farmer Markets continue with Saturday’s being held at Nat Bailey Stadium from 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday at Hastings Parking 10 am – 2 pm.
