20th Annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival This September

The Still Moon Arts Society in conjunction with the Renfrew Park Community Association presents the 20th Annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival this September. You are invited to participate in this free festival that offers a variety of activities. The event celebrates the full moon, harvest abundance and diverse cultural traditions. This year’s theme Resurfacing pays tribute to the lost stream systems of Still Creek.  The signature events include the annual Harvest Fair, Lost Streams Parade and Streamside Lantern Installation which features live music, dance, shadow puppets and eco-arts.  Also included in the festivities are workshops, youth performances, community veggie competitions and more.

Harvest Fair & Lost Streams Parade
September 10, 2022 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Slocan Park + Collingwood Park

The Harvest Fair is an all ages family friendly event that takes place at Slocan Park.  You can expect music, local artists, eco-arts workshops, games, community booths and the ever popular vegetable competition.  At twilight, a lantern parade with mystical characters will lead you along the routes of the Lost Streams to Collingwood Park.

The Streamside Lantern Installation is a magical walk through a transformed Renfrew Community Park which is filled with beautiful lanterns and illuminated art surrounded by live music.
